Serve once per month from 10aServe with Followers, an after-school ministry that occurs every other Monday during the school year. Followers volunteers help with welcoming kids, leading or assisting with activities, prepping snacks, leading small groups, games, snacks, and age-appropriate Bible lessons, building relationships that encourage growth in faith and character.:15-10:45AM at the HWC Kids Check-In desk, helping create a smooth and welcoming experience for families on Sunday mornings. Kids Check-In volunteers assist new families with registration, ensure smooth check-in, greet families, walk kids to Kids' Church, help ensure children are in the correct rooms, introduce new families to Nursery, Pre-K and HWC Kids' leaders, and make sure all kids, adults, and volunteers in the Kids Wing are wearing name tags.
Anyone who enjoys working with kids and wants to make a meaningful impact after school. Volunteers should be patient, dependable, and willing to engage with children in a positive, encouraging way. Prior experience with kids is helpful but not required, training and support are provided.
