Serve as a Small Group Leader in HWC Youth Group, walking alongside middle and high school students as they grow in their faith. Small Group Leaders help facilitate discussion, build relationships, encourage participation, and provide a consistent, caring adult presence during youth group gatherings. This role meets once per week on Wednesdays during the school year. Small Group Leaders may also choose to engage in students’ lives outside of youth group by attending games, concerts, or other events, helping students feel seen, supported, and valued.
Adults who enjoy investing in teenagers and are willing to listen, encourage, and model Christ-centered living. You don’t need to be a teacher, just relational, dependable, and willing to engage with students. A commitment to consistency, healthy boundaries, and youth safety guidelines is essential.
